New Venues
It also gives me great pleasure to once again be performing at venues owned and operated by three Second Life music scene veterans, Charm March, Hennessey Sautereau and Sandi Benelli. Respectively, the Kingdom of Music, Club Seaside and Crystal Gardens. I had the opportunity to play each of these venues during the last week or so of September and we really had a blast at all three places and I look forward to attending concerts there as well as playing them lots and lots in the future. Charm and Sandi were among the first to take me on in regular weekly or bi-weekly slots and Hennessey is one of my very first and closest Second Life friends... I couldn't be more excited that these ladies are again operating live music venues and providing quality entertainment at NO CHARGE!!! :))))
OPINIONS
There have been lots and lots of often-times heatedly enthusiastic discussions recently about certain changes to the way some live acts are handled within the grid in terms of monetary compensation to both the performers and the venues hosting them. In last months issue, I gave a very small part of my opinion on the "entrance fee" concept and why I do not believe it is the best thing for the live music scene within Second Life. For another very good opinion on the subject, please seek out fellow Second Life performing veteran and very good friend of mine Eponine Dench's contribution on the "Guest Book" page of this website. Thanks so much Epi, for weighing in. I would like to invite others to do likewise and submit opinions on this controversial topic by sending me an email at a3d3@comcast.net or you can drop me a notecard inworld and I will be sure to include it in the next issue.
FIRST WORD:
Greetings and a very happy autumn to everyone still with me :) My apologies about the lateness of this issue of the Chronicles but have been down with a light case of walking pneumonia and have been taking it easy. I had to cancel only a few performances and am happy to say that I am on the mend, hopefully to be back at 100% before long. Thank you for your patience. Also, as I am flying solo these days with regards to the Continuum, I must also apologize about the lack of shiny new photos to include in this issue and would like to invite readers to send me any live-performance related photos you may have residing either on your hard drive or in your SL inventory and I'll get as many as I can in here where everyone else can enjoy them. Any concert related photos are welcome (not just from my shows).
Intents & Purposes
As mentioned on the 'Music' page of this website, my second CD or collection of original songs, Intents & Purposes is finished and available in digital mp3 download format. Please click HERE for ordering info. As of right now, the collection is only avalable through this website or by personally contacting me and letting me know that you are indeed interested in obtaining such. The compact disc (CD) version will be available as soon as the duplication and packaging service gets them finished. Please check back often to the CD purchase page of this website if you have an interest in the 'hard copy' version of Intents & Purposes.
